very happy with him big sav, he's been great this year, probably plays his best footy atm dashing off the half back line, didnt really like the matchup on Carey last night.....Carey did however.

Agree on both counts. I don't really like it when he's given a key defensive role, because firstly it's not really his forte and secondly because we miss a lot of his run.

Remarkable how much he has improved since early last season. He looked so indecisive and ordinary back then.

What a great pick up. You would take him over Caracella anyday. His pace off the back line is badly need by the Bombers and his aggression at the ball and opposition players reminds me a bit of Dean Wallis/Merv Neagle. Great size too, can play short or tall, defend or run forward and kick a goal.
Real coup for the recuiters.

Yeah, it is probably:

1. Hird
2. McPhee
3. Rioli
4. Solomon

You could mix and match all those under Hird as you see fit!

Sensational pick up. Would be 3rd in our B & F behind Hird and Rioli.

Don't think his game on Friday night was as good as what people are making it out to be though. Sure, he played well but made a couple of bad kicking errors which cost us. Welsh and McVeigh were better.
