Here are the rules.
The AFC Annual Draft Game is an off season tradition for obsessive tragics.
There are eighteen sides. All will be drafting from all AFL listed players (no Neon Leon) for 22 rounds to select their side. All selected players must be on an AFL list on December 12, 2012.
Each side must have a name. The first post below will list the draft order. The next twelve posts will each contain two rounds of picks, and it will be these posts that Allefgib and I will come back and update with people's picks.
The next eighteen posts will be your sides - please come back and update that post with your picks. Please don't post any "whoo-hoo I have pick four!" type posts until everyone has put up their original team post (with team name) that they be updating through the draft.
It is expected that this original post eventually becomes a thing of beauty. Put some images in there, a logo, whatever you want.
When you make a pick, it is traditional to put up a photo and a paragraph that talks about how excited you are this player was still in the draft and why you selected them. Be creative with the photo - non-existent bonus points will be given for photos that include WAGs or folks with the same name.
The game will begin at 9am Saturday December 8.
The game will begin at 9am Wednesday December 12. You will have two hours to make your pick between 9am and 8pm each day. Picks can be made outside these hours, but there will be no 2 hr deadline.
If you won't be online to make your pick, please PM another player, but preferably not me (it becomes a pain managing too many things in the game).

JUDGING CRITERIA
Structure - 15pts. Does this work as an actual side?
Midfield Overall Talent - 5pts.
Inside Midfielders - 10pts.
Outside midfielders - 10pts.
Tall Forwards, inc third tall option - 10pts.
Small and Midsized Forwards - 10pts.
Does the team work structurally, and can they kick a winning score? Do they have multiple options, as well as strong key forward to hold it together?
Tall Defenders, inc third tall option - 10pts.
Small and Midsized Forwards - 10pts.
Do they have the options to stop a range of different forward lines?
Rucks - 10pts. Feel free to rate this slightly higher, but I only gave it five as it is only a player or two across your whole squad.
X-factor - 5pts. Does Bruce think they're special?
Experience - 5pts. Are they mature bodies, ready to win now?
