Track seems to be confirmed as dead for now, tho may dry a touch to be good later but very humid in Melb so maybe not too much hopefully.

I'll stick with Makybe Diva (Ive backed her with $20).

Then Vinnie Roe and 3rd Eye Popper.

Roughie Leica Falcon and Railings. If track was fast I'd almost be inclined to pick Leica falcon, good weight.

Got to say, got a good result for the day. For the past 6 or so years, I have been in a syndicate with 9 others and we pick 9 horses in a boxed trifecta (I think that is what it is called). Costs about $250- ($25- each) and today for the first time we got the treble. A very handy payout of $320 each.

The "Diva" is an out and out champion. To win that race 3 years in a row is nothing short of sensational.

Eye popper cost me my first 4 with Xcellent sneaking under the radar. bit disappointed because it was paying well.

stuck with on a Jeune for a place so was happy with that paying 15 bucks for thee place so I broke even.

Why oh why did I not listen.

Only did trifecta and exacta.
My "surer" things were Makybe Diva, Xcellent and Leica Falcon (first, 3rd and 4th), with my longshots being Mr Celebrity and Distinction who didn't fire a shot between them.

Hehehehehe I am spewing more than anyone. I was tipping On A Jeune and I didnt even make it to place a bet on her for the place. Would have won 64 odd dollars. It happens to me every year, and every year I have an incling and dont bet it comes through!!!!
