Melbourne Cricket Club waiting list

I was wondering if we had any MCC members that would be willing to propose or second Melbourne Cricket Club waiting list applications?

I don't have much to offer as a favour owed other than a few drinkies at the next grand final catch up and not forcing them to pay postage and handling for the privileging of doing me a favour. I mean I can sign WACA membership proposals, but how many MCC members in here are not already going to be WACA members? Now that I've done such a solid job selling this, PM me.

Perhaps this thread could be used a resource for others to (awkwardly) request the same in future as well?

If I was a member I would definitely do it ofr you after that non sales, sales letter! Good place to have other requests as well.

When I did the MCG tour a couple months ago, the guy hosting the tour was an MCC member, he told us that some people wait decades to become proper members, and it's generational, people nominate their children at birth and they don't get in until they're 40...
Anyway not sure I've been much help...
