We're alright mate but I appreciate that due to the boring nature of interstate franchises and their utter lack of history or meaning, its only natural that you would become infatuated with the oldest and greatest club in the heartland of the game. The MFC are the heartbeat within that heartland whereas anything outside of Victoria has no meaning (this does not just apply to footy either)

I couldn't care a less about the MFC, the AFL will eventually move the useless Melbourne clubs which Melbourne would be classified as one, to NT , ACT, Tas ,maybe Newcastle or even Northern Queensland to give them a full spread of population. It appears to work better with established clubs as a number of their supporters will stay onboard. The Darwin Demons has a great ring to it!

Don't stress you will retain your identity in some way, as they say you can't stop progress!
