Always loved the comment 'It's only football'. Clearly the people who say this don't put their heart and soul into supporting a club. It's not just football for some people. It's more than just a sport. It's more than a game as the song goes. People invest into their clubs and into the sport with their hard earned money and their blood sweat and tears. People travel the country following their beloved club. It's more than just football. Would you say the same about music if your favourite band or artist split up or passed away? It's just music! No it's not. It brings out emotions possibly never felt until you hear a song or see a band live. Same with football. Following a club is tribal and brings emotions you normally wouldn't feel in your everyday life. Some people are going to be able to wake up today and say there is always next week. Some people will wake up angry and bitter. For those invested and totally committed to a club, it's way more than just football.

I'm hurting just like everyone else but some of the reactions and ridiculous calls being made on this board are embarrassing, way more embarrassing than the way our players performed last night. But if it makes you feel better to act like a conceited patronising dickhead and take pride in your own misery and vitriol then go right ahead.
