I did the ladder predictor last night and entered in for the last 3 rounds the strongest team based on current form/ladder position to win each game, as well as Collingwood winning all 3 games, and I have us finishing 3rd.

In those results I did have Geelong beating Brisbane and Hawthorn Beating West Coast in round 23. If only one of these results happen, we finish 4th, if Brisbane and West Coast both win... and there are no other upsets, we finish 5th so it is a knife's edge on a few games.

Play is supposed to stop when the whistle is blown. A player kicking the ball assuming it is their free kick is stupidity. There was no advantage call. That's the risk that he took. Clear 50.

Would probably be great personally for people like you, but it surely would not be great for footy with the club with the largest supporter base in the country falling on its ass leading up to finals. Take a few 100,000 viewers away from finals. Great win for footy!

Richmond haven't fallen on their asses leading up to finals though.

If the free kick was for Melbourne, he would have called for advantage. The Melbourne player assumed that it was their free kick without any advantage call being made. Hence it is the Melbourne players fault and the 50 metre penalty was correctly awarded.
