Do we really actually have star players to carry us through the finals ? Neitz is hopeless. Kicks goals on backmen who can hardly play. Against a fletcher or penny or scarlett he is just a decoy for dutchy. White is decent, but can't win taps around the ground. Yze can't get a hardball. Bruce is fantastic but not consistent. Green has great skills but can't find the ball enough. Nicholson is too slow to take the forwards of treadea, lloyd riewoldt. Our backline is suspect. These are our top players, and none of them are the high impacting players week in week out as we need to have for the finals. I think that general opinion during the season that we have been 'overachievers' is probably right.

I tend to agree - although you might be a tad harsh on Neitz. We MUST groom a new full forward and full back next season.

No if you look through my posts all season ive said one consistent thing and thats our backline is suspect. 2nd i may have been harsh on neitz but i think he is our key ingredient to winning important and big games.
