I was wondering what type of membership people were planning to buy for next year. With the hype around Judd our membership is set to soar. Do you think it is worth paying the extra for a reserved seat? Particularly for the games at Telstra Dome. With a silver membership in 2007 it was difficult to get a seat there.

Just bought reserved seating. It's expensive as a whole, but if you're committed then it's great.

Was only something like $80 extra for reserved seating at away games in Melbourne also - that is a bargain.

I had the 11 home game Gold Social with reserved seats. I might do the same this year but for all 18 Melbourne games. Now we're making a profit I don't feel bad about giving revenue to other clubs.

Recently purchased my 18 game membership with no reserved seat. I figure that for the big games I will buy a ticket, and for the rest, I will just have to get there a bit earlier.

I am an AFL Reserve member with Carlton affiliation. For games at the Telstra Dome I do one of three things with my 'free' entry.
1. Stand on Level 1 with all the pisspots.
2. Sneak/stroll into Level 1 around half time when the officials aren't as vigilant and grab a seat.
3. Sit up the top (which I hate) on level 3.

MCG is much easier to grab a seat on Level 1.

I'm renewing my Premium Gold (reserved seat) this year. For me its worth getting the reserved seat because on game day its a 4 hour return trip from where I live
Love our seats too Level 2 at G and Dome.

Changing from 18 games to 11 though cos I'll be overseas for a bit of the season.

I've got the MCC upgrade membership.

Just a question, does that membership go to our overall total? Or is it one of those crap ones that doesn't?

I am pretty sure that at least some of the money for the away games would still end up with Carlton. I'm probably going to upgrade from my silver membership this year, definitely an 18 gamer regardless of level.

If you want a seat on L1 why not buy one for $5?
