Hey Guys,

Considering getting the Old Man a Membership or Two for his Christmas Present, but a little bit confused with the Adelaide Membership Structure.

With Port we have 4 Memberships which have Season Tickets, and one or two which don't.

Am I right in saying with Adelaide you have a 'Season Ticket' and then from that you also have to then purchase a Membership?

It also looks as though there is a waiting list for these Season Tickets, any idea on how long the waiting list is? He and his mates were members for several years in the Late 90's Early 00's and from memory there was also a waiting list back then.

Sorry for all the noob questions, but thought someone here may know due to recent experience :).

All the best for 2011 guys.

Cheers,
Matt

We have ticketed and non-ticketed membership.

Non-ticketed gives you all the trimmings but no games. you have priority access to these when purchasing though.

Ticketed reserves you a seat.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I deal witht he Vic stuff which is different again.

Your dad hasn't disowned you yet?

Dad is a Crow/Woodville Supporter
Im a Port Adelaide/Glenelg Supporter
Brother is a North Melbourne Supporter

Odd family :thumbsu: haha.

He comes to quiet a few Port Adelaide games, and I always take him to a couple of Adelaide games. Went to the Essendon vs Adelaide (elimination?) Final back in 2009. Both get into the spirit for both teams, just big AFL Fans really.

Thanks WALL-e, Appreciate it. So I imagine with a Ticketed Membership you dont recieve any of the members pack?

So you would need to get a Ticketed Membership & Non-Ticketed (Trimmings) Pack?

Any idea on the waiting list for Ticketed and/or the Cost? Cant seem to find it!

Thanks for the replies though boys.

A silver membership will get you the trimmings and a reserved seat.

AAMI Stadium Cat. 2 for all Crows home games, no waiting list.
Includes 6 SANFL games for free, all SANFL finals inc GF and 40 games for free at the MCG
Best $320 i have ever spent

get him a gold membership
you want to get him into the grand final right?

haha That should be covered with the 4 Port Adelaide Platinum Memberships I have :thumbsu: :p

Cheers for all the help guys, really appreciate it.

Gold membership is available ONLY to current financial AAMI Stadium (Ultimate & Essential Crows) members and AFL members (with AFC club support).

So might have to call the club tomorrow and speak to them to work out what to do. Will probably get two memberships for him so he doesnt have to go alone, might even head along aswell.

Is there a Bay where a fair amount of Big Footy Posters head along to? We both like getting into the game abit, so would hate for him to sit in a bay full of quiet oldies :).

The Crows Membership system is a tiered system

Premier Membership (formerly known as Bronze Membership): basically a non-ticketed club Membership with priority to purchase dailies (except Showdown and finals).

Silver Membership: effectively a season ticket. Gets you into the games and priority to weeks 1-3 finals (if the Crows are playing) and that's about it (don't even get voting rights, yet the non-ticketed Premier members do ).

Gold Membership: basically Premier and Silver Membership with a guaranteed GF seat if the Crows make it and free entry into the shed.

Silver Membership is currently 'full', and it costs $25 to join the waiting list, but the waiting list is quite small (one season wait generally these days).

If you want a ticketed Membership straight away, take Viva La Mattner's advice and get an 'Essential Crows' (formerly known as Category 2) SANFL Membership.

Thanks guys!

So brucetiki in saying that Silver is currently being full, that would also mean Gold Membership is also currently full? - 1 Year or so Wait?

Or you can do what I did
"I made the top of the waiting list back in 2001 whent he Northern Stand opened, but we were interestate"
they should put you ontop of that list, and get that membership this year :P

Thanks guys!

I put myself down on the waiting list in around July/August 2009, got my offer end of 2009 and was able to immediately buy Gold rather than having to spend a season with just silver while on a gold waiting list.

Either there is no waiting list for Gold memberships, or there is no quota.

Last year my G/F went on the waiting list for free when they offered it for a week and then was offered tickets mid Jan so if you apply now I am fairly sure you will be able to get a silver for next year no worries.

Not necessarily. Although Gold Membership is capped at about 12 000 (to ensure all Gold Members get a GF ticket if the Crows make it), take up is normally alot less, especially around this time of the year as you have until the AFL cut off of early July to upgrade, and the takeup tends to be largely based on the Crows form. I'd say if your Dad got offered Silver Membership, he'd be able to upgrade it to Gold Membership immediately.
