3. Set incremental realistic targets
4. Develop plan of action
5. Inform membership/interested parties of your plan of action
6. Implement plan of action
7. Focus – no distractions from people who want to sabotage your interests.
8. Achieve your objectives.
9. If all of these fail – get out of town quick.
