well i reckon we should keep people like JON, schulz and Johnson, while many others knock them and want them gone.
I dont know Meyer, but he has done nothing in his 3 years at the club.
The only highlight i rememeber is when he sold the dummy to an adelaide player very close to goal...brilliant bit of play...but then mcleod came and crunched him for holding the ball.

If he was to make it, then Edwards would have to injure himself...but unfortuneatly for Meyer, he is the one with the injuries and Edwards is the one flying.

But i agree, it is a bit pessimistic...im sorry .

I was shot down in flames over a thread I started regarding Danny and the LTI list. Has been obvious for a while that he wasn't right. No doubt he has stalent but will be tough from here for him to establish himself.

More importantly who will replace him from the rookie list. Collard for mine, kid is an absolute gun, could be anything, just needs to realise his potential.

Most of the rookie list are insurance players that aren't going to get into the team unless someone filling the same position gets injured. So I agree that there is no point promoting any at this stage. Better to keep them all in reserve at the moment.

Shock horror... never would've guessed. But in this case, l agree with you. Would rather give him a shot than the other three who dont really deserve it yet.

If l had it my way, l wouldnt elevate any of them just yet. Dangle the carrot and see who works harder for it.

FWIW... if you dont already know, l'm a huge Meyer fan... reckon he'll be back and we'll give him the time he needs. I hope so

Can't agree. Howatt is just a good average player. No more.

Im not a big fan of howatt after seeing him pull badly out of a competition after hearing footsteps behind him against hawthorn. Maybe thats harsh and he can fill a role for the club but if they wanted him for anything other then insurance they would have left him on the senior list.
