the only catch with rage is: they dont show the digitally restored version of the videos, and a lot of the videos have been on the shelves for quite some time. and im pretty sure rage play their really old videos on a vhs/ beta unit.

I was wondering how they were going to handle it, quite a good setlist despite relying on old sources for the clips. Noticed in their one hour preview today, the choices of the versions are not what i was expecting eg: Thriller was the truncated version that started from when the chick gets scared and they walk out of the cinema skipping the intro stuff. And Smooth Criminal was the slowed down version, and the Rio De Jeneiro version of They Don't Care About Us.
When MAX on Foxtel ran through the top 50 MJ songs of all time, i was skeptical on how they'd do it.... and they cheated a little by including the various versions of some of the songs (eg: they'd have the shortened versions of Bad, Thriller, alternate mixes of blood on the dance floor early on.... then replay the longer versions / proper mixes of the songs in the top 20).
I'd like to see a retrospective box set come out with ALL clips in tact, i know they did the Visionary collection back in 2006 for the UK (granted it was only 20 singles on 20 double sided discs, one side of the disc was an audio cd with the song, the other was a dvd that had the filmclip to the song).

lol yeah that was terrible... and he was the SA finalist
