In my opinion one of the best football brains in the business is Mick McGuane - a successful local coach as well.

Any of the AFL clubs could do a lot worse than employ him as a part time strategy/development coach.

And how long has he been out of the AFL system for? He's no spring chicken.

No doubt he knows the game but I'd say he's just a bit too much 'of his time' and has probably ended up in about the right place.

Everyone always harps on about how good he is at coaching Keilor but has had some pretty good players at his disposal during his time there.. Having Dean Galea in your local side will make any coach look good.

Wonder how'd he go coaching a div 3 reserves side?

Best coach in the world considering he was half way through a slab and trying to get through to the last leg of the Randwick quaddie on Epsom day before his 3/4 time speech in the GF.
