As long as you keep Haynes, Carroll and Morrison amongst others, I'll be happy.

Still havn't answered the question "who is going to stop Super Pav".

So I assume that no body knows. :D
Thats because he's playing up forward, in the midfield and in defense all at the same time

He will probably be tagged by 2 or 3 players throughout the course of the match. Morrison and Chick may be used on him, Glass and Carrol may be others. You seem to have a fixation with Pavlich. Is he the key to your team?

Obviously you have your crystal ball doing overtime so tell us who are the matchups for the game.

Tag Pavlich? Hahahah,If he plays forward, Glass can match him in speed and strength. In midfield...well that would complete the slowest midfield in the comp.... Haselby, Cook, Bell, Pavlich.
Can't wait....Remember we won't run out of legs after half time like North.

If you let Pavlich run around on his own, he will tear you a new arsehole.

If you think Glass on Pavlich is a good matchup, then put him on him and lets see how he goes.

Riewoldt might have something to say about that. He is still under 21. I like Judd and think he will be a great player, but saying he will be the best player in this decade is jumping the gun.

I'd rank Judd above Riewoldt - he got rorted of Rising Star, but thats ok. Unlike St Kilda we don't base our season on who the rising star is going to be ;)

If you think Riewoldt didn't deserve the rising star award, you are deluded.

If these Fremantle supporters or 'supportters' (something to do with Harry Potter?) were fair dinkem, they would have purchased a membership - therefore giving them a guaranteed seat.

To be fair to Judd, he has been far more impressive this season than Riewoldt. Riewoldt it would seem is almost having second year blues, second year actually playing blues that is. Judd though has gotten even better than his rookie season.

As for Pavlich, who knows. He seems to play at FF, CHF, CHB, FB, midfield a forward pocket and in the ruck at the same time so I think we may need Batman or Superman to play on him

Pavlich can do what he likes, the bottom line is that our midfield is a lot better than Freo's and because of that and Gardiner's dominance in the ruck, we will win.

Yep, Judd has been better so far this season. But Riewoldt is a KPP and will take a few more seasons until he really starts to dominate.

You should be thankful your coach won't have that attitude.

And Pavlich more or less plays in the midfield and moves forward every now and then.
Throw Chick into the midfield, that will stitch Pavlich up. Chick is a fantastic tackler so even though he gives away size, Pavlich wont break a Chick tackle too regularly. Chick is very accountable and can kill you when he gets the pill.

All this is rather funny though. All you Freo folk think it's our problem with who to match up on Pavlich. I think it's the other way around, who are you going to match Pavlich up on? Any of our midfielders will kill Pavlich for pace, agility, skills and stamina. Pavlich's man, whoever he is will hurt Freo.

Last year, we sucked. But now we've got an improved midfield with Pavlich and Headland.

This year, we have 156 hitouts (2nd in the AFL) while the Eagles have 157 hitouts (1st in the AFL).

This year, we have 142 clearances (7th in the AFL) compared to the Eagles who have 147 clearances (5th in the AFL).

Pretty even.

Please Jod. I am not even going to bother. And if you think your midfielders have more skills than Pav, you have to be kidding. No-one in your side can kick bullet 65m passes.

"last year we sucked."

replace 'last' with 'every'

I know that for this year they are quite even, but from 4 rounds its doesn't really give any true reflection.

Pavlich just isn't that big of a danger in the midfield.

He's got around the ground but isn't a danger in the centre contests. He's agile for his size, but his to big to be a danger when the ball is on the ground.

As for pace, he's too slow of the mark to be a dominant midfielder. I would be much more nervous about him if he were playing CHF/CHB.
