C: Lockyer - Burns - Pendlebury
FL: Fraser – Swan – R. Shaw

Lockyer: Another player with great leadership qualities and a tremendous work ethic. However, what he has to offer now is simply not good enough. A slow link player, that offers nothing in speed and/or creativity. Plays along the flanks picking up cheap kick and the odd goal; could be a tagger but has no grunt.

Burns: Love the man. Loved his career and all he has given. However, all good things must come to an end, and for Scott Burns the end is near. How I wish he was young again.

Pendlebury: Not his biggest fan, but is a required player for the Collingwood Football Club. Scott has the skill, time, and hight to cause opponents plenty of head-aches. For me he very much reminds of a Nigel Lappin (Brisbane), just a little slower. To be complete he needs more aggression – which may or may-not come. But what is critical for Scott, is to continue developing; performing the hard gut-running acts that has made a player such as Nigel Lappin a champion.

Fraser: One word: Failure. The ruckman we hoped that would lift this club; what a recruiting blunder he has been. Fraser detests body contact and finds it difficult to mark over his head. Should have been a 185cm wingman that collects kicks and runs all-day, but sadly he grew to 202cms and fooled the half-assed recruiters into believing he was a ruckman. Big mistake!

Swan: Has a Ben Johnson quality about him – he could be good, but can be bad (regarding personality and playing side). On a positive, he has done what Ben Johnson could never do, and that’s become a midfielder. I think he is a positive for this club; but still has a lot of work to do, in terms of becoming a prime mover in the midfield. Is capable of the next level, but needs to find it quick!

R. Shaw – Is an enigma. Has the one thing Collingwood needs: Speed! But in saying that, he teases us with bad decisions and poor disposal. He looks gone at the Collingwood football club – Malthouse doesn’t seem to connect with Rhyce – But deep down if we do let him go… I think Collingwood are shooting them-selves in the foot.

couldnt you have put all of this into one collective thread called TheClokes look on the collingwood side?

Or just TheClokes outlook on life because you even have a couple of didak and shaw threads.

Alot of posters bag DTM for threads but you are going to extremes this week. Red card of the AFL board?

You are 1 miserable human being. Surely you could have felt a little bit of pride in your heart from Saturday nights game.

Lockyer showed how much passion he has for the club. He shut down Dal Santo and is in our top 5 for endurance for the club.

Burns has 1 more year left in him and will be a premiership captain in 2009.

Pendlebury has the potential to be anything. How can you not rate this guy. He is only 20 and he is still learning the game. I still don't think he realises how good he could be and will be our next captain.

Fraser has struggled with injuries the last 4 seasons. He will have some luck next year and become one of the top ruckman in the league. When he is fully fit he is very hard to stop!

Swan will win our B&F this year. He is close to the most underrated midfielder in the league. His one on one contests and overhead marking are standouts.

Shaw as has a good year and I can see a future for him as a running midfield.

For gods sake show some pride and optimism in the club you support!!!!!!
