we're talking abt deledio not griffen mate, deledio has played abt half a dozen games off HB and played the rest either in the guts with a ahrd tag or up forward. What are u doing here anyway? u are contributing sweet FA and just looking to troll, piss off

:) WHAT, like Sheedy does with your so called champion Fletcher?

Play him on lesser light forwards and allow Kepler Bradley, Andrerw Welsh and whoever else get slaughtered by the forwards Dustbin should be taking on!!

Talk about protecting a reputation!

Dont know about the rest of you guys but i'd love to see Chris Hyde in the guts more often. He wastes away on a forward flank and wing. He is gutsy, skilled and handballs to advantage like Broders used to. Most importantly other teams don't rate, look what happened at skilled last year. Geelong gave him no respect and he carved them! I reckon he is a good link player and can deliver the ball well from the centre. Swap him around with Browny in a forward pocket.?????

Newman, Deledio, Raines, Brown, Polo, Johnson, Tuck, Meyer, Krakouer, Tambling, Hyde, Tivendale, Foley and Howat.

the guys in bold are useless.:thumbsd:
raines plays in defence
polo is no superstar;)
brown will spend alot of time up forward
will newman spend much time in the midfield?
the rest are/will be champions:thumbsu:

your midfield won't be too bad this year. if you guys make the eight it will be thanks to deledio, kane john, tuck and foley. i don't think you guys have to worry about your midfield letting you down.

:) WELL, if there was a weakness in our midfield, you'd spot it. Comes from watching the weakest midfield in the AFL running around each week in black and red!

Just why are you here and not posting on your own club's forum? Obviously nothing happening down at Windy Hill.

because i'm mates with one of your beloved tigers and i don't want hacks like tivendale or meyer getting games ahead of him.
i also have a $20 bet with a mate that richmond don't make the eight.

:) MEYER no hack. Walk up start at Windy Hill!

And your mate? Who? Name him? Don't give me any of this "name shall remain secret" crap. Maybe us Tigers fans can judge whether he is worthy of game time. Not just a mate's opinion!

if you really need to know it's cam howat
meyer wouldn't be close to making our side. we dont give guys a game just because they were early draft picks.

so how do you guys think howey wil go this year??? after his great pre-season results he would have to be in your starting 22 wouldn't he?

:) NOT even certain he's come off the rookie list yet!

But to answer your question, yes, he commands a spot in the 22...well starting 18 actually.

His five games at the end of last season couldn't have been any more impressive and has certainly excelled in the pre-season.

I'm a fan and think he offers us plenty with his hard running and skills.

AS for Meyer - we don't give him games because he's a number one draft pick

Unlike Patrick Ryder for you blokes last year, he deserved his games. Ryder was not ready, but Sheedy kept playing him because he is - and rightly so - a fan of Aborigional players and promotes them anytime he can.

As for your recent first round draft picks - Winderlich, Laycock, Ryder, Monfries, Kepler "bloody" Bradley, Stanton and Shane Harvey. Most haven't been capable of cutting the mustard. Like Shane Harvey...why would you play him.
I'd take Monfrioes and Stanton from that bunch. The rest you can keep. None have shown a damn thing. Laycock has potential, but has been getting agmes because there's been no one else!

kepler Bradleyt has to be the biggest charity case since Kevin Walsh and David Flood! And Wallis. No talent and gets smacked every week. Though, he plays on the guys your so called champion Dust Bin should be playing on, not sacrificing young supposed up and comers!!

Ask any Dons fan for their view on Bradley...doubt you get a favourable one. So who is playing guys for the sake of being a round one draft pick!

JON is a hack
meyer is a hack
pattison is no better than kepler
riewoldt is very very very slow

both essendon and richmond have made some mistakes over the years

Agree we have made mistakes, but too early a call on JON and Riewoldt, Meyer is no hack and while I am no big fan of Pattison, more upside and would take him over Bradley, who is an embarrassment!

JON is far from a hack. Btw to answer your question, no that wasn't a highlight package it was one game he played in.

Meyer is one of the most talented players on our list, he's one of the few players who has better kicking skills than Cam Howat. Meyer's 2 goals last weekend were EXACTLY like Nathan Brown. He has massive talent and many tiger fans compared his goals to Nathan Brown last week.

Pattison has at least played a couple of good games last year, he will be the Benny Gale type which are always so usefull.

Riewoldt... his running action has been worked on so expect an improvement because speed was his only flaw. He was already dominating games against men as he is though so I expect him to win more games off his own boot just like he did last year :)

I'm really not where I stand with Hyde. He seems kinda just...akward? Though theres been many good player who look akward with the ball. For example, I've always thought Brad Johnson looks rediculous when he's running (maybe thats just me).

He was very good in 05 for us before he had that head clash against St.Kilda and was OK last year, with some good performances like the one against geelong. I suspect he will be used in the midfield more this year again, still not sold on him. But he's a midfielder that can kick a running goal, which I like.

hyde is an interesting player for sure. i too have never been sold on him, and he will need to have a good year this year to keep his spot in the team imo. maybe he just doesnt stand out in games.

probably too much of a confidence player, but i still have him in the best 22. I think he is genuinely the bravest footballer on our list, never seen him shirk an issue despite the treatment he has copped. Probably one of our better candy salemen around the club too and only does it when its neccesary. TW is a beliver in him also which definitely works in his favour.
