OK GUYS,

I can understand about being positive or seeing the glass is half full all the time.
HOWEVER who is going to take responsibillity for our present situation?

I have asked many times who is in charge of football operations, list management and player development and have never had an accurate response.

With the possibile addition of two NEW teams with considerable concessions WE are in a very delicate situation.

Take your rose coloured glasses OFF, does anyone care?

THERE IS NO QUICK FIX IN TODAYS MODERN FOOTBALL!

Everyone who has been involved with recruiting and list management over the past 10 years should be held ACCOUNTABILE!!


WHY does anyone refuse to name them?


WE ARE A PROUD, PROGRESSIVE AND AGGRESSIVE CLUB WITH A RICH HISTORY WHO IS DANGER OF BEING AN ALSO RAN.


DO NOT THINK IT IS EASY TO RE-TURN TO THE BOMBERS OF OLD!


HAVE WE BEEN SPOILT SO MUCH, THAT NO-ONE CARES!!

With the possible considerable concessions we are well placed due to our heavy early involvement in the last 3 drafts, and obviously again this year. So are Melbourne and Carlton. The clubs that will be hurt are eg St.Kilda and West Coast that are hitting the bottom now after periods of relative success.

And yes we care, just not all of us are stupid enough to want the coach sacked after just half a year. We have no good players in the middle age range because the drafting system worked. finishing 3rd, 1st and 2nd over 99 to 01. Exactly what it was designed to do. It hurts, it really really does, but think rationally people.

He got his tabs mixed up. He put his "Write to Mike" letter here, and his BigFooty post in his email to mike.

Either that, or it's Sheehan's fault.

Mike, I've got it on good authority (see the trades thread!) that Brent Prismall is the best player of all time.
