Agree with this, I was looking at the side on Sunday, and disregarding the opposition and the result, it had me thinking heading to the car that if you take our Macaffer and put Dick back in that forwardline, there's the team that makes a premiership tilt in the next few years.

Maxwell, Shaw, O'Brien, Toovey, Brown and Reid - solid back six.
Jolly and Fraser as the ruck duo.
Dawes and Cloke up forward (with Fraser at times too), with the likes of Dick, Davis, Didak and Medhurst running round.
Plus the midfield is so even now with no passengers given the emergence of Thomas, Wellingham, Beams and Sidebottom. Like it or not Ball does do a job in that midfield despite his lack of numbers.

Long story short, ANZAC Day minus Macaffer plus Dick is 'the team' for mine.

Like to see Sinclair blooded. He looked likely in the NAB.

My gut feeling is the Sack should also be in the 1s. Don't know who for though. Easy option is Possum Eyes but I suspect he is doing a job every week.

These are factors that we should all be very, very excited about. We have had selection headaches for years now, being who to bring in when someone goes down or is lacking in form. All of a sudden, the headache is now trying to justify dropping someone for another performing well in the Magoos.

Our depth is tremendous. Its going to take us a long way, for a long time. I'm seeing Geelong 05-07 in our group. Not quite ready to take it to the next level unless the stars align this year. 2011-2013 is when we will strike. And strike hard.
