Now to be honest before Thursday night I never really liked him as a player as I saw him as a soft little up himself **** but I did gain some respect for him in the Brisbane game. He actually went in hard and tried to get the hard ball, did a great tackle on Mal Michael which should have been holding the ball but it was a goal for you anyway and did show some leadership in the huddle at 3/4 time.
Thoughts?

i saw the leadership in that huddle as well he is a great player sometimes very inconsistent thats the only probeblem

IMO he has always been a reciver in the forward 50 but this year he looks to have taken it a step further by willing to chase and tackle.

So far this year he's gone after every tackle. Sure he might bounce off a few of them, but he's going in hard now. I really like it, a big year ahead for Milney IMO.

Hes had 3 years as a permanent forward pocket and kicked 40+ goals twice, I reckon thats not too bad for crumbing forward

Milney had a great game against the Lions. It was harder for him also because G wasnt 100% fit, so he didnt lead and there was no one to take the crumbs off, especially in the last term when Roo went off.
