What's the idea for the lights ?

We're nowhere near doing the lights. They will probably be the very last thing that goes up, actually.

Right now, the stands are the main priority. Then walkways, then the interior, then the gates, and so on.

Great resources v and eth!

You could take eth's pic and put it into spritecraft to get the side elevation of the stands, then work from there to get the walkways etc.

Would save a great deal of time.

Depends how much we want to put in. The stadium needs to still be completed. Roof, final tiers, all inside detail, walkways, etc, etc then there's little things like ticket booths, toilets, food vendors, you name it. That's also not taking into account possibly extra additions we could put in like surrounding areas (pathways, outside parking, roads, houses) if we want go that far to add to the atmosphere.

Would probably guess that it will take the full month that the server is up for to do everything we want to do. I doubt that we've even completed 30% so far but we will get there.

What mod are people using to fly on this server ?

I'm using Zombe's mod pack. Has a lot of mods that you can turn on and off etc.

We can't do it higher, we're like 3 blocks from the max height of the world. And we need to have structure beams on top of the roof.

Which thinking about it now is going to pose a problem with the light towers.

**** me I've enabled fly in config press a key to turn it on in minecraft but nothing happens.

Tried to go onto the server this morning after buying and using minecraft last night. I have already been on the server last night so I know I can go on there.

I try and connect but after half a minute of loading I see.

Connection Lost

Internal exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.

I googled about the issue and found a thread on it but no one could fix it. Some people said things worked for them but didn't work for others.
Please help, tried some other servers as well. Currently I can't use minecraft online after only buying it last night.

Edit: I have Windows XP. Am going to try reinstall minecraft now
