If the freak from across the Tasman comes it wins.

First up from a serious injury, gallops out, give the leader 4 lengths at the 800m, and still wins having to break 54 seconds last half to do it.

He's just another star 3 yr old that hasnt proved himself against no one. I will only care to look at his sectionals if he can beat BAF...which he wont unless Natalie falls out of the sulky

Just Jasper= pedal bone.

Auckland Reactor= megastar.

All you non believers- you just wait.

Wait for what, Blacks A Fake cant be beaten this time in.

Well BAF is a champion no doubt. Best I've seen.

I still thank the gods whoever they are that they gave me $18 E/E fixed odds about it in the cup last season. Made a motza. $18 about a champion. idiots.

But I truely think this thing is a freak and will prove itself in the MM.

Considering the horses Purdon has had he says without question it's the best he has ever had.

I take the invircargill run as my guide. Not a super quick track it ran 54.0 dead last half under a vice grip. Changeover at it's peak won the same race coming home 57.3.

BAF will be odds on, and the kiwi over E/W. I know where my money will be going in a Race and track BAF has been vunerable in every year.

Tru that....but in fairness...Yakuza is pretty good...keeps on winning and beat all home but Reba Rajah in that group 1 race....and bold cruiser just won a G2 but definatly iron hudge should be in above both

id love too see Yakuza prove himself personally, first foal of Tailamade Lombo. I must check on how the others are going.

Re-Arakaan's comment on AR

At last someone writing without blinkers, a hood and plugs aka Brooklynbute.

Mark Purdon was on the radio yesterday, he's the Mr. Downplay of racing. People have got to understand this guy couldn't talk up a naked Charlize Theron. But he's been around some good horses (in fact the Purdon family have won 5 Miracle Miles since 1990, thats 27% of them!) and theres no question in his mind that Auckland Reactor is the best he's seen.

I mean first up for 6 months, parked and working from the 1100. Closing with what, 52.9 and 25.4! In Marks own words he didn't have to ask him and he has thrived on the run?

BAF is a champion, AR is your once in a lifetime freak, very soon to be champion of champions. He's coming your way. Enjoy

And tell me sub, if BAF draws 2, Smoken up draws 1 and AR draws 6, you really thing he will win??? If BAF or SU draw inside AR, forget it. Lets not forget Melpark Major either.

You say "once in a lifetime freak"!! Reckon I've heard that a few times before.

Put a bullet through his heart and he won’t win, don’t let him off the plane in Sydney and he can’t win. Give him 6 in the Mile and yes he can win.

I saw him work to the parked position in only his 4th start from the outside barrier 8 to win a group 1 as a green 3 year old rating a clean 1.57 and going away by 1 ¾ lengths.

Proof is in the pudding, but feeling very confident

Wasn't Flightpath supposed to be the next "big" thing? Can't even win a restricted race now.

Flightpath, come on Bernie! He won one race from his first seven starts and his best overall Mile rate when winning any race is 1.58.9! Doesn't really stand up to anything AR's done does it?

Er, no.
I just recall that when he came over to B Hancock, there were monster wraps on him.

Yakuza is in tonight in Tassy. He needs to win well if he wants that MM birth. I won't be on him though as Castaspell has form around Fleet Express as well but should be interesting race regardless.

Make Me Smile has earned his spot in my opnion, far to good for Special Albert. You were spot on Brooklyn. Was a great win Friday night.

Decorated Jasper and Jagged Knight won with ease.

Everyones doing there job so far.

have no doubt he is a great horse but he is in for a rude awakening when he meets more seasoned horses than he has and i dont think you could do these times they say he does around harold park without ending up in the grandstand after saying that it is being held there is it?

I think Make Me Smile needs to win the newcastle mile and i think he should. probably has the speed to lead from 9 out there. apparently divisive is going there as well so it will be a great race. but make me smile did beat divisive last time they met

Not buying it. Had the race run absolutely perfectly for him to win. Snags back to last then tracks up Decorated Jasper who did ALL THE WORK and just peels off his back at the top of the straight.... pfft! .... Rerun the race, yet this time she doesn't move on him till Melpark Major moves in front of him.

I don't care if Melpark Major beats Decorated Jasper there next 20 encounters, i know who i'd rather own. When Melpark Major can get anywhere near a horse like Safari then you can mention him in the same breath.

Now the Miracle Mile directors need to pull there heads out of there arses and not even bother with the rest of the Victorian horses outside these two. Where was Jagged Knight or Mister Swinger? Oh that's right.... weak as piss! YET they get on the short list and Decorated Japer a clearly superior racehorse in every sense of the word gets ignored...

Do the NSW guys even watch harness racing outside on NSW?

How i see it right now on current form,

Tealsby Karita - Hell no

Glaring Omission!

Decorated Jasper

That leaves,

Divisive
Make Me Smile
Karloo Mick
Melpark Major
Decorated Jasper
Blacks A Fake
Be Good Johnny
Aukland Reactor

This can change week to week depending on what they do.

Oh and last thing, if Decorated Jasper got ignored because of his loss to Antigua Bay then i repeat, what's he supposed to do? The leader goes 30 every quarter then rattles home in 27.4... Give credit to a perfect drive.... that's how you beat horses better then your own.... You see that type of driving all the time in W.A with inferior horses knocking off quality.... I think DJ ran ENOURMOUS to run on and get so close.

The form isn't weak... Deanna Troy (form around DJ) has ran like a powerhouse her last 2 runs doing it the hard way and hitting the line strong for two super impressive wins.
