Anyone know how to use this? I watched a demonstration once, it looked easy enough but now I'm in I've got no idea.

find a server and connect to it
find a channel (chat room) and type
/join channel name

then......go for it.

List of other commands:

/list - Lists channels
/links - Lists servers on network
/whois (name) - Gives you info on a persons nick and what rooms there in
/whowas - Like above, although only if they're offline
/who - Finds people with certian strings in their ident tags.

mIRC is pretty nerdy. Lota freaks on it, just ask TopDon. :D

I use a fair bit of mirc during the week as I have too much time on my hands.
Best aussie server is austnet.
I would recommend #OI! or #perth.
 
I prefer using pIRCh over mIRC (just find it easier to use). It's easier to do aliases and popups with it too.
