Has everyone else see the photo on the Advertiser site of Mitch Grigg, it seems the boy has completely let himself go since being delisted.. You must wonder how hard it is for some of these players to excel in this environment, he is obviously not a skinny fellow in normal times so on a list he must have found it very hard.

Either way, he has put on a ton of weight.

Grigg was one of the types of players Thommo spoke about in his farewell speech to the players the other week. "enormous amounts of talent, more than some of the players in this room but they weren't willing to put in the hard yards and effort to make it"

Gee I was expecting Mitch to look like D Jarman in the SOO guernsey (from the Slowdown) the way it was described. But he looks fine.

I guess that's the difference between professional and semi-professional players. SANFL players have to find real jobs to survive, AFL players get paid to work out.

It's very relevant if you read my post properly you fool, I didn't hang anything on the guy and rated him at the crows, I poured out how hard it must be for some people to stay at AFL level skinfolds etc, that's a totally different photo people posted than what I was referring to that I saw and as an observation there was nothing scathing on the guy, the fact he in my opinion has put on a lot of weight in less than 12 months surprised me, also never did I mention anything about his football ability.
