Kreuzer can be so much more than a ruckman. Even if the Hampson / Aisake combo turns out to be that good, the Kreuz could be a key forward. Damn, he could be a wingman with his athleticism!

Argument applies to Morton equally as well, plus you get elite kicking to boot ;)

Or Cotchin/Morton:thumbsu:

I rate Ebert very highly, but for some reason nobody else does. I would draft Ebert at 3, but that won't happen.

I've also been extremely impressed with Ebert the times I've seen him and would be happy to get him at 3 if thats the way the recruiters decide to go.

Just noticed on the WC site that Mitch Morton was taken by WC in the draft with the father/Son rule. Does this mean they will try and get Cale the same way? Might be the 1st big test for how the new Father/Son rule goes!

The AFL have changed the rules since Mitch was drafted. That's why his brother was drafted by Hawthorn last year.

No longer eligible for father son.

When has Kepler played in the Ruck?????????????

Exactly mate:D Junior level. Although played a few positions. He did actually play a fair bit as tall wingman.
He did not exactly have the profile of a tall defender ie Fletcher clone Essendon were looking for. The positions he played rarely meant he had to be accountable. Pre-draft he was looked at as a possible mobile ruckman who had the flexibility to play other positions:)

my mail is that morton (wce) will be traded to richmond, if so, you can assume that richmond will use pick 2 on cale morton. Thus allowing carlton to use picks 1 and 3 on kruezer and cotchin, probably the two best players in the land, and already teamates!!! terrific for the Bluebaggers.

My mail says this is just another Bigfooty rumour and the clubs wouldn't have made up their minds just yet.

As Cotchin & Morton are different players (as opposed to Morton simply being a downgraded version of Cotchin), I'm not bothered who we get. If we get Cotchin, we get a silky ballwinner who can dominate clearances. If we get Morton, we get a superb utility with sublime skills who can play anywhere.

They're both going to be special players, so provided we take Kreuzer at #1 (which is by no means assured), I've got no problems. That said, I'd rather Cotchin.

I'm sure Richmond thought the same thing about Aaron Fiora.

Fiora is a soft **** whilst Morton isn't. Morton can also take a contested mark and considering how he is an ethiopian at present, it wll be scary to see what he becomes when he puts some weight onto his frame.

I agree with that, as long as we get Kreuzer
