Did any Geelong supporters go to the VFL curtain raiser?
If so how did Thorp look in kicking 6 goals? Sometimes goals can be deceiving? Did he earn them?

If so how did Thorp look in kicking 6 goals? Sometimes goals can be deceiving? Did he earn them?

Had to ask a couple of times who he was! He was standout in a match of few standouts.
It was such a pitiful effort by Geelong that it was difficult to find anyone who was "earning" any plaudits for us.
