Hopefully MM will be a less thuggish coach than Sheedy (with all due respect) was. He coaches very high pressure and tough but fair tackling, and will be especially cognizant of the need to avoid a rule-stretching bully-boy style given recent history, so I'd say a very good choice. Also an opportunity to judge his coaching with a totally different squad.

Considering that Sheedy orchastrated a massive win over the irish it will be a good indicator of just how good a coach Malthouse is. If we lose then i guess he is overrated like some say.

if you are saying that Sheedy is a bad coach then i don't even need to reply to that comment because anyone with any decent amount of football knowledge knows how respected he is in the community.

Nah I'm not saying he is a bad coach. I am trying to tell you not to place too much credence in Mick's coaching ability based on the international rules results. It's not a reasonable reflection of anything. Otherwise Sheeds would still be in a job, surely!

why on earth did they choose lyon and brereton, untried coaches, to run australia??

ive always found the series to be boring to say the truth. i've been to one in melbourne live as well

i didnt miss it at all last year
