Just so we're all aware, Mick is currently in Russia looking at the workings of one of their premier soccer clubs.

Would be real smart of us to bankrole such a learning experience if we're going to sack him!

I thought he was there scouting The Russian Nathan Buckley? Since we have the Irish version why not a Russian?

I doubt if we did sack him that Lyon would be given a gig, I'd think McKenna would be more in line.

Heard that mick and eddie had a fall out about the captaincy at collingwood.It was really about that whether bucks should be captain next year or should he relinqish captaincy,so he can play up forward for another 2 years without that pressure.

Ummm, look, I really don't think you are allowed to say that anymore. Rumours are an integral part of this site and are treated as worthy news stories, as they should be. The bigger the rumour the bigger that status it gets here, the more outlandish the more it will be be defended as the posters right to say it. Its what we are about now, you could say it is now one of our KPI's.

I have heard that exact rumour from the wife of a former great of the club. MM has been given till rd 4....and the person to take over is Gary Lyon.

Not sure why they would sack him after rd 4 and I agree with SingaporeSling when he/she says that the era where we would embarrase ourselves by sacking coaches mis-season are long gone....not while Eddie's there anyway.
