1...Esme's Boy checked and nearly fell on the home turn....typical!...worth following as ran on ok, depsite being hindered up the straight by another crab......a donation there!

2...Easy quinella, but plenty others on board as well....nose slightly in front and now up to Somesay to complete the day.

3...Led and folded like........Geelong!

End result about half my original outlay down!

FWIW in the 8th after a five second glance at the form...

Obviously the 7 (Ana Can Can) looks the best bet from 3 (Black Stockings) and the toppie (Biscay Steel).

Not backing them though...so that means it will probably come through!

Actually backed Biscay Steel each way in the end after noticing it's 3rd up form. Great value given how the horses numbers stacked up.

In the last, the 10 looks a good smokey. 2, 3 & 5 the other numbers I'd throw in a flexi first 4.

Chloe Blue Eyes was very stiff got shifted out wide and bumped into the thing next to it and never recovered to drop right back, I first backed it 3 or 4 starts back and have followed it since, has made me a lot of money....next start look out

Yeah should add some value to it next start. Will keep an eye out.

And yeah the favourite. How often do you see the odds on favourite disappoint though?
