I know us Melbourne supporters have asked Geelong supporters a hell of a lot of questions about this guy but I was wondering how is his consistency? After the Bulldogs game I'm not doubting him he had a fantastic first half and is currently leading the competition in inside 50's and long kicks but I was just wondering if he could do what he did in Round 1 for most of the year?

BTW will be interesting to see him line up against his old club this Friday night. Considering both clubs are Victoria's best chances of a flag (Saints aren't much without Riewoldt and both our sides are better anyway) it should be a cracker of a game.

His consistency is hard to judge on last years performances. It was really the first year he made an impact so naturally he had good games and bad. The only thing I would say is that he's the type of player who has a fairly single-minded approach of go hard, get the footy and kick it long. That approach generally means he won't drift in and out of games as much as someone who is a bit more enigmatic.

God post Cat Empire...I would have to agree. He also complements your midfield well.

We will miss him this week and in the future, with Monica going down, Koula out we are now almost in need of another midfielder

It will be interesting to see what he is like the second half of the year. He has never played as much footy as he is now playing for the Dees. Good luck to him in any game except when plays us of course. As for us missing him, yes but think of what Ottens has contributed to our side thus far.
