One of our best this year. Becoming one of our most consistant good players & showed us that he has more strings to his bow that many gave him credit for.

Personally I think that he should be played more in the middle the way he has been played for periods during the last few weeks.

I didn't think he was rubbish or anything like that, but I thought he had plateaued and could never be anything more.

Well, Gus. You have set your own bar now and I would love to see you reach it more then just this once.

I have always believed that he has this kind of stuff in him and his year thus far has been very good. Played his best ever game tonight and I think there will be many more like that to come. He is an important player for us and truly hope he will remain in red and black. Often thought his critics were a tad harsh and expected too much too early.

I thought he had plateaued and was shit, but ever since ditching the 3 ruckman and his move to the midfield he's really improved and this week he has excelled. Got absolutely toweled up in the first quarter really pulled his finger out after Stiffy went off.
