Good idea. Use Pyke to menace Sandy out of the game even if he gets 3 weeks for kneeing him in the groin. Roos should just tell him to go nuts and cause maximum carnage. He can blame it on a lack of footy skills.

White can go forward and give us a target. Pyke gets some game time, Sandy is taken care of, we have a tall forward in place. It's a win for us. Besides, with his rugby skills I'd love to see him tackle Sandilands (hard). That's a long way to fall....

ps. Barlow better pick up his act this week. Pass the ****ing ball Ed instead of just pinging away from anywhere. Does he not understand the team rules ? And Shaw needs to learn to kick to Swans players. Great run out of the back and lousy kick straight to a turnover. He'd be better off hand-balling.

I don't think it has anything to do with Subi being a bigger ground. Amon is a better footballer than Moore and it seems obvious to me that Moore hasn't been doing enough. Hopefully a stint in the magoo's will make him realise that his spot isn't guaranteed and makes him hungrier to really lift his output.

Disagree about their respective merits as footballers individually.

Maybe 2-3 years ago, Buchanen was a better player, but not now. I think Moore is suffering a Nick Davis-type axing, to get him working harder. I hope that's all it is, because I thought he did a bit last week.
I know Amon's been going well in the seconds but I have my doubts whether he's a long-term option for the Swans, and would hope Moore's back soon.

Also, I think Moore's a much better option as a small forward, Buchanene's goal kicking in seniors in the past two years has been disappointing.

We can't afford to have players who do turn it over frequently.Barlow is so young in his footy years he can correct these indecisions.The one who drives me crazy with poor,often selfish disposal is Buchanan. On some occassions he might as well just give the ball to the opposition.Hopefully his stint in the two's had addressed this part of his game.

i agree some very bad clangers is recent weeks. Needs to work on his hands as they are not clean and he also drops easy marks. Got dragged at least 3 times last week.

Cuz not an emergency so would be doubtful. I agree Pyke isnt ready. I was very excited at the prospect of seeing him play but he is very very ordinary. The big body doesnt in anyway make up for the lack of skill and reading the play.

Thought he was pretty serviceable tonight if he hadn't tried to take those blokes on. Maybe drop him next week and bring Moore back. Moore, Bazza and MOL into the forward line would be catastrophic for the Tigers, as now having Hall and MOL is our unpredictable forward line.

Buchanan was terrible. He ALWAYS takes the lazy option. Always. Never willing to do the hard thing for the team.

By the time he decided he'd rather stage for a high tackle than actually go the ball, I was ready to delist him.

I've had enough of Buchanan. He DOES NOT WORK HARD ENOUGH IMO. Trade him to the Gold Coast and be done with him. Put Moore back in this week, at least he has a go!

ppfftt....don't use Buchanan as the whipping boy made some mistakes but did good things also. He might not be the quickest But, keep taking the game on thats what we need not to stop and hold onto the ball while the opposition floods back like so many others do. It's frustrating when he gets caught out but I can forgive someone for taking a risk, it's all the other guys stopping and holding onto the footy making slow decisions take drives me crazy. You ain't gunna win playing safe all the time, or holding onto the ball only to chip it around and turn it over.
