Hate the little pricks although I don't have a problem where I am.

But in a place I lived in a year or two ago I was literally swarmed with the little bastards whenever I hung out the washing. In the house I had to have a one of those coil repellants burning all the time almost.

Those coils stink like crap.

Mozzies are just the worst kind of animal - add absolutely nothing, and they just irritate. They don't hurt - no they don't have that sort of grunt or commitment, they just piss you off one little sneaky bite at a time.

Assholes.

It's most annoying when you're trying to sleep and the assholes decide to buzz around your ear and never leave, even though they have the whole room.

I hardly ever get bitten by them. Nor do they land on me much. I dunno why, but im thankful for it :D.

Can add me to the list of hating them buzz in your ear though. That's the worst.

I hate to say it, but I think they tend to gravitate towards targets with higher testosterone levels. :D The bites are mainly caused by female mossie's sourcing blood to grow their eggs.

:D:(

I thought they were attracted to Carbon Dioxide, and things like perfumes and just general body odour.
I remember a few years ago watching something about mosquitoes and being attracted to different hormones, it may have been myth busters. Anyway, I refuse to believe your suggestion :D Im plenty testosteroney :p

Reminds me of a clear Summer evening sitting outside in my backyard and the mossies come at you and all of sudden you have to go inside.

What about that cop that got bitten by one up north and is now disabled because it was carrying some deadly brain disease. They should just wipe the things out.

I allow my place to have lots of Daddy Long Legs so other insects and spiders are now a rarity. It's like having you own personal bodyguard 3 feet away when you got a big daddy chillin' on the wall.

Daddy Long Legs are good in that they protect us from the other insects and spiders. At least now at my place im not seeing as many cockcroaches because at one stage they were everywhere. Do you get a lot of cockcroaches.
