Most annyoing coaches in the AFL
In my opinion, based on their press conferences and interviews, openess about issues relating to their team and football in general, ability to take a joke and in general when they are speaking you are keen to listen because you are not going to get the same old cliches.
Best to Worst
1. Mark Thompson - honest and always has interesting views and open views relating to is team.
2. Paul Roos - seen many of his antics pre-game and on the bench, always interesting to listen to
3. Mark Williams - seeing an angry Mark Williams post game after a Port loss, he lets fly and doesn't hold back.
4. Dean Bailey - very measured with his responses and enjoying listening to what he has to say
5. Brad Scott - first year as coach and has a firm stance and won't hold back. Liking his apporach to taking NM in a new direction.
6. Rodney Eade - can play with the media at times and make some subtle comments
7.Alistair Clarkson - Mr Angry the second. Love seeing him get fired up and angry after a loss
8. Michael Voss - doesn't make excuses for injuries and has some good views on football in general
9. Mick Malthouse - Mr Angry, like to see when the media challenges him. It fires him up for nasty responses
10. Matthew Knights - always on about processes and the direction Essendon is heading, tad repetitive, but tough for a man after Sheedy
11. Damien Hardwick - nothing to say as yet really. Has to much work to do in getting Richmond to be competititve
12. Brett Ratten - has his moments, but never really creates headlines with anything he says
13. Mark Harvey - Mr Excuses, always got something to whinge about
14. John Worsfold - Mr Cliche and boring with his dull press-conferences
15. Ross Lyon - thinks he has been in the game of coaching for a Sheedy like time, and has a bit of arrogance about him which he doesn't justify having.
16. Neil Craig - the worst of the lot. It is like having someone with a saw cutting away on your ear. Painful listening. Mr Boring, always calling reporters by their first names in press conferences? Constants mentions of "processes, development and young players" Take your science to the lab Craig, its not needed for the football, the sooner you go the better the Crows will be. Last time he smiled : once he got the Adelaide coaching job.
Keen to hear other peoples opinions.
