who do you think is the most consistent player in the league?

a player that will run all day, every game

Even though I voted for him, theres no way Ricciuto is the most consistent player in the league.

Very topsy-turvy season

Brett Ratten - in a bad game he still gets 18-20 possessions.

Agreed, and often even if you're at the game you don't realise. I remember the Carlton-Fitzroy game at Waverley in 95, my dad and I agreed "Ratten was pretty quiet". Sure enough, he'd had more than 40 possessions, but b/c so many are at the bottom of packs, you miss them.

Given that the topic has no expressed time frame, I think it is clear that Nathan Buckley has been the single most consistent player over the last five-six years!!!

If we are referring to this year, I think it would be between Ratten and Voss. Both have been fantastic and both are the type of in and under player we need almost as much as a ruckman!

Voss and Ratten.

The most consistent thing about Buckley is that he is consistently beaten by Duncan Kellaway.

I would still rank him third in this company.

You know TT, I am going to have to kick your arse in a Cyber-Fight over your stance on Buckley!

You're like the anti-Bruce - you pick a gun player and talk him down, instead of wanting to get him up to the commentary box and boof him!!! ;)

I could not think of a warmer compliment. Thankyou.

Well, you are right again. I don't want to take gun players into the commentary box and, well, you know...

Please note that I ranked Buckley 3rd of the listed players for consistency, hardly a put-down in that company.

He has only had two good games against Richmond, once when Kellaway (D version) wasn't playing and once when Kellaway was returning from a knee reconstruction. On every other occasion (except on Friday) Kellaway has towelled him up.

I calls it how I sees it.

There's no way Ricciuto in more consistent than McLeod, just from a crow fan's point of view. McLeod is very consistent, and rarely gets less than 15-20 possies a game, even when he has a bad one, though his influence can be subdued. Roo has had quite a few quiet games this year, both in possesions and in influence on the match.

Out of those on the list, I'll agree with most others and say Brett Ratten.
