Alot of players have extracted the digit this year, but three stand out for different reasons.
Grover has blossomed this year, mainly due to "Granpa" Parkers tutoring. He has been confident and attacked the ball at all occassions. Obviously this is due to Parker now getting time to back up players, rather than have to look after the whole backline himself (well Kickett did help a little bit ...).
Koops has proved to be a solid performer this year, although I wish he'd spoil more often!!. He has proved me wrong (humble pie), as I had him on the scrap heap.
Shaun McManus in my eyes has always given 100% and has been wrongly blamed for Freo mixed fortunes over the past years. Sometimes when you try too hard you can stuff things up, but that is better than someone who doesn't have a go and thus makes no errors. Macca seems to be playing better because the focus has been on other players and also due to other players lifting their games, Maccas work looks alot better.
