Msn Help!

Ok, I can't get into my MSN at all. When I do, It just says check your internet connection. This has been happening for ages, and I can't fix it. Also I can't log into my email, it just says the page cannot be displayed (I have a Hotmail account). Can someone please help me? I'd be EXTREMELY grateful if this problem is fixed!

Go to:

Tools

Options

Connection

It will then ask you whether you use a proxy server. If so, put in the proxy settings. If not, uncheck the box, press OK and away you go (! hope)

I did it, It didn't work. It's probably because I didn't type in the settings. How do I find out the settings?

In internet explorer:

Tools

Internet Options

Connections

LAN settings

Copy and paste them from there

Then don't select that option in MSN, leave it blank. You aren't running a program like Kazaa are you? Kazaa (and similar programs) slow down your connection a hell of alot, because they hog the computers' resources. If you have them installed, competely exit from the program. Often Kazaa (and similar programs) will minimise onto the Task Bar in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If an icon is there, right click on it, and select exit. Now try and connect MSN again.
