What do people think of MTV???

They play some bloody awesome music, have Yvette Duncan shaking her booty on Most Wanted each weekday.

But the best part of the channel is without doubt the night time reality television. You've got quality shows like:

- PUnkd
- Jackass
- Dismissed
- Room Raiders
- Viva La Bam
- Beavis & Butthead
- Newlyweds
- Till death do us part
- Pimp my ride.

ANY MORE???? People can think of?????????

It's garbage. How can they possibly advertise themselves as 'Music 24/7' when they have **** like 'Real Life' and Road Rules on. I hate it. Music Max is the best music channel. Oviation has some ok documentaries on as well.

MTC sh1ts over the other music channels FD has to offer.

Punk'd is junk.

Jackass is classic.

Dismissed provides some decent eye candy from time to time.

Room Raiders and Beavis and Butthead provide decent viewing as well.

Newlyweds is junk.

Till death do us part is junk.

Viva La Bam goes alright as well.

Most Wanted was better when Yvette was by herself, as we saw alot more of hot little body.

Yeah! I love MTV, it's the best music channel on Foxtel. Like, it's better than just having music as you have all those wicked shows which pop mentioned above.
Yeah Newlyweds and Punk'd is my fave..and I think Pimp my Ride is a new one, which is just as cool

I go through phases. Sometimes I dont mind MTV but other times it just seems like junk. The majority of the tv shows are rubbish. I dont mind that Crib Crashers one and dismissed is alright once n a while. For some reason I just find the hosts second rate. Yvette is hot, but just like the two s2s chicks they have no media or television hosting talent.

MTV is utter rubbish

they have yvette duncan and her stupid little giggle, geez that gets on my nerves... they play bad music, no variety (that is when they choose to play songs)... all the hosts are terrible...

channel [v] absolutely craps all over mtv... i hate that i have optus and i'm stuck with mtv and not [v]... at least the hosts have some personality and don't sound like they're reading off scripts, they play a good variety of music, they have lots of live music and it's an australian music channel... even though "MTV Australia" has Australia in the title, it could not be more american... they used to have the oz countdown, but then they got rid of that...

they only shows i've enjoyed on mtv are beavis and butthead (about 4 years ago, am over it now), jackass and viva la bam... otherwise it's a waste of a channel...

Yeah i watched that too.. It was funny as, i reckon it is better than Jackass.. MTV is a good station. Has those funny injury shows like Jackass. Newlyweds (Jessica Simpson ). I cant stand those stupid reality shows though like the real world or watever it is.

recently i've noticed MTV expanding the number of original shows it has, and i have to agree that it's all they can do given that mainstream popular music is becoming narrower by the minute - so a 'hip' station such as mtv is left with fewer songs it can play.
