Cars & Transportation Multinova speed camera's do they get you from the front or back?

Hey guys, first of all Id like to think Im a pretty safe driver. Drove past one of these things the other day. I didnt see a flash but saw a shiny reflection off the sign that they place after the camera (could of been the sun since it was noon but not too confident). When I checked I was doing probably 1-3km over 60 limit after but probably around 60 as I went past the camera.

Did I get flashed? I didnt see one going through besides the reflection off the sign after (but I dont think they take shots from behind and since that flash thingy they had points at drivers going towards the camera).

Will definitely drive like 5km under or so now, Cheers guys.

I would be suprised if these things are even set to flash you unless your going atleast 5km+ over the limit.

The WA Government has bought a couple of the NEW cameras that photograph you from behind, however only a couple, from what I'm told the new style ones (which are a great deal more sophisticated than the old style) will be used mainly on multi-lane dual carriageways (i.e. freeway, Tonkin/Reid Highways, Forrest Highway etc) as they are capable of tracking multiple lanes of cars at a time.

As the poster above said though, very unlikely you got flashed at that speed.

I was flashed at about 3km over the limit once, but I never got a notice/fine
so maybe they flash but they ignore them if not too far over?

either that or the flash was something else.
Happy to say i have never had a speeding fine though

i always sit next to cars in the outside speeding or speed behind the other speeding cars

they always get you from the front unless as said above they are the new ones which are used to get motorbikes from what i understand
