Mumbai are 9/328 at stumps. the Australian team is close to our test line up (Gillespie, Martyn and Kasprowicz out) and we did have them at 5/82 at one stage, so it's not really a good end to the day. Dighe made 84 and put on 117 with Bahutule for the 6th wicket. Warne 1/81 off 19 overs, not too impressive, but McGrath bowled well. Flemmo got one, Miller got one. Ponting got two, and Hayden bowled a bit too, taking a wicket, which is interesting. Not a lot of names running around for Mumbai, and Aust described as being 'frustrated' by the tail enders.

Score Update from Bombay/Mumbai:

Australia 4/97 after 36.4 overs

Slater - 11
Hayden - 11
Langer - 25
Ponting - 1
S. Waugh - 30*
Gilchrist - 18*

Seems our top order batters will need to work a bit on these Indian pitches and getting used to the conditions there.

We're falling apart! 7/132, with S Waugh on 54, and Miller yet to score. No sign of M Waugh yet, wonder if they'll bat him at all with the split webbing. Gilchrist made 22, Warne 1, Fleming 5.

Kulkarni 3/24. Mhambrey 3/57.

By the way, Sri Lanka are 3/346, with Atapattu on 149 not out.

And Miller's just gone to Kulkarni for a duck; Kulkarni 4/25 off 19 overs.

Stumps on Day 2:

Australia all out for 203, with Steve Waugh making the bulk of the innings.

In reply, Mumbai are 0/83 in their 2nd innings with an overall lead of 208 runs.

Anyone else suprised to see Hayden been given a go at bowling? He did quite well in the first innings!

I think the real surprise so far has been McGrath's batting. For him to hang aroung long enough for Waugh to score a century is a terrific effort. Either the new ball was doing all sorts of things or our top order has a lot of work to do. And if it is the new ball, I predict a massive second innings score for Mumbai.

It is way to early to say, but the bubble may be about to burst.
