They said he has left the ground for scans.

Lower leg

I hope we are not talking about another Suban - stoked if it's just a sprain and some stretched ankle ligaments

Updates people???????

Fox sports are saying cracked fibula - can't put weight on it - at least 4weeks out

Bugger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just as Barlow was about to come back we lose another gun mid. ****. Really hope he will be right to come back after the bye

What on earth did you guys do pre season to piss off the injury gods so badly?!

On a positive awesome job on smashing the scum.:thumbsu:

WC vultures drifting in as usual..

Looks like we may get Barlow back next week, out goes Mundy.

This really ****ing sucks.:thumbsd:

We were so close to reuniting our only two elite mids.

Was actually genuine in my disbelief over the rough run your lot have had this year, after seeing my own side go through a similar run it is mighty frustrating.

have to pay that :thumbsu:

Geez I hope Mundy isn't too bad. Surely we're due some good luck soon?

Considering you've been decimated by injury the fact that your still top 8 is fantastic in itself.

Perhaps the silver lining is that if you keep winning these sorts of game when you do get your best team on the park you'll be heading towards finals and can really make an impact.

Unlucky. That's football though. We can hold some real hope for part two of 2012 though.

A possible suspected lower leg #...
Wouldn't that be around up to 3 months out??

What has a derby got to do with Mundy's leg.

If its a non weight bearing bone (I think thats what they were saying) then maybe 6-8?

Who was it on here who called our luck with injury a revolving door policy?

Well this is just taking it to a ridiculous level. We finally get our best mid back from a broken leg and we lose our 2nd best mid to a broken leg.

Docker's were hasty in subbing him out apparently....

That and the searing 20 degree temperatures were responsible for Essendon's performance today

Not use to playing in any light that isn't artificial.:p

Sick of it, any club who has the injuries we have had this year wouldn't make the top 4. Yes including collingwood.

Finally get Barlow back and Mundy is likely to be out until the last few rounds of the year.

What worries me is that they are reporting it as a cracked fibula (non-weight bearing) however Mundy was unable to put any weight on his leg...
