Where are Haileybury?
Dickson is a certainty with 50+ goals.
Rebeschini No.1 HBF in comp
Hill on a wing?
Magner? Yeah Probably not. Hasn't played enough

Tough team to pick, but you've gotta find a place for Rioli, he's the most skillful player in the APS and is only 15!
I'd have to take out Vance, he had a shocker today and does not warrant selection.

not bad, dunno about the geelong college ruckman he only has a good name cos he is on tac cup list, personally reckon he is a dud. darvell is also overated and will struggle. Werzberger should be swapped with mcguiness for starting line ups.

I would consider putting Morrison up the field. He was a light in melbournes defeat today and is very quick.

id also consider putting a place for dixon (SKC) in the team. of the few skc games ive seen him play hes been ripping it up.

yeah have to say thats a good team, perhaps a spot for dawes somewhere? Great to finally see Marston get some recognision though

totally agree nick 'the muzz' , marston deffinately deserves his spot having beaten every full forward this season, that team looks very solid, but theres always going to be people who will be unlucky and miss out, eg rioli, dawes

one match mate, vance is a star no doubt about it

i agree footyismylife its one game he has been a top 3 player every game for melbourne grammar and i would move morison up the field the kid is only 5 7 he can't contest in the backline but is more than worthy of a spot on the side and i don't think rioli is worth it maybe next year

Ash Mackay, #4 for mgs would have to be considered, plays on the wing and dominated all year. Also Paule #2 for mgs, has to be selected only player i saw all year to be able to break the game up with his pace and skills.

If you seriously consider Morrison worthy of a spot in the APS team, then surely Dixon (SKC) would be considered before him. Dixon is slightly taller, heavier, faster and a more potent deliverer of the ball. I have seen both play several times this year and Morrison's job is made a lot easier because of the talent around him.

I've seen Dixon play a couple of times this year. Good evasive skills and good bulk for his height, but I didn't feel he measured up to some of the classier midfielders in terms of his foot skills or his leg speed.

Morrison I agree is better suited on ball but I think he could contest well in the back-line as his speed allows him to run with players. He would also be able to provide a change for some of the other on-ballers.

I think Rioli is a very silky players, but he is fast becoming one of the most overrated players in this competition. Possibly because of his name or the fact that he is Aboriginal, I don't know, but people are trying to pump him up as "the best player in the APS" or other such things. Yes he is talented, but he also has a very slight frame. Let the kid play and he might be what you say he is in a few years. For now I have put in the team I consider to be the best the APS has this year.

Also, haven't seen Banjanin play all that much as he's been injured. Are there many/any other possibles for the ruck?

sorry mate but ur confusing 'overated' with 'much talked about'. Just cos everyone talks about how good he is, doesn't mean he isn't. I would have him in my best side for this year, and i shudder to think how good he'll be when he's in year 12. We joke about him playing in the year 10 comp as he very well could, and just how ridiculously good he'd be compared to guys who will be playing firsts as year 11s next year. I think it's good you've given djerrkura a run, he's more developed and is a great player.

Batten is clearly the best full back in the league

Batten is alright at negating his opponents, although still gets a few kicked on him most of the time. Someone like a Comben (HC) or a Marston (BGS) I think are stronger and provide more run out of defence as well as stopping their opponents.

Curious as to why the undersized Njoku was chosen ahead of some more experienced, taller ruckmen (Banjanin - GC, Wolkow - CGS). Are you generally impressed by the year 11 or are you a school-mate?

Dixon (SKC) is yet to impress me greatly - I don't think he is up to the standard of some of the less talked about midfielders Beckwith (HC), Werzberger (CGS), Jakobi (BGS).

Otherwise fairly similar team to the ones already been mentioned. Expect Raso and Watts to get guernseys though..

Njoku, despite his supposed lack of height, seems to win the taps each game, and ive been to all of Scotch's. I might not include him due to his skills around the ground being probably less good than others. No doubt about his tapping dominance though
