My concern...

With so many young players who will probably turn into stars...i'm a bit worried how we can pay them all in the future. i hope the AFL increases the salary cap so we can accomodate for all of them. Lets hope they play for the club before money, because together they will have a lot of success.

I can see where you're coming from Mattster, but the thing I'd say to that is the fact that it goes in waves. By the time our younger group of players develop into stars, (hopefully!!) the senior players from now would have retired, allowing us room in our salary cap to fit everyone in.

Every club has these kinds of problems... take Essendon for example... they had to get rid of Damien Hardwick to be able to fit all their players into the salary cap this season.

I'm with you though... lets hope Geelong can keep these talented group of young players together for many, many years to come and really become a force in the AFL.
