Due to the refusal of the Administrator of this site to forward a message of mine to JonnyQuest regarding a personal attack by a BigFooty member , I no longer feel comfortable posting in this forum.

It appears quite obvious that many members of this site are correct in thinking that Administrators do have favourites.

My thanks to all those who have sent me PMs and posted messages of support. You have indeed touched my heart.

The Administrator can only act on information provided to him by Moderators, and Users who complain. Some of this information is incorrect and biased.

I think you will find that C1 has closed off that option himself, because he doesn't want people sending him PM's.

C1, please don't leave, a lot of posters feel like doing that from time to time but if you stick with it & ignore the morons, it will improve.

This is a seperate argument

Yesterday's tradgedy was no time to be scoring political points when so many people were upset.

The debate you speek of is well worth having - but not now and not in a way that is to provoke feelings in people who are feeling a very deep and fundamental loss.


Also, you may stop to think that you are not 100% right. Most people never are. Its usually somewhere in between.

Chicago is well liked on here for good reasons - he is a reasonbale thoughtful considerate person

Your persona is differnet - its good to have some fire and passion - but at times this needs to be tempered to think of other people's feelings

I think you have a lot to add to the boards for what its worth but you go too far some times. Last couple of days it has happened at least twice.

After all - your goal from what I can gather is for there to be peace in the world at large where everyone is free to follow their own beliefs

This is not inconsistent with showing some judgment and compassion at times like these when it is needed.

Chicago1, I know the last couple of days must have undoubtedly been very taxing on you, but please reconsider your decision and stay.
Alf, I hope you stay as well, you're a very interesting poster who contributes a lot to the discussion board. But, I think there's a time and place for comments, I believe in your right to your opinion, but it would have probably been better to tone down your thoughts on some subjects considering the huge emotions which have arised as a result of the recent disaster.

Yeah he is getting better but the whole thing happening on his birthday and him being a US citizen and all really shook him up. Most little kids were shook up anyway and the factors above just added to it. He's getting better though.
