My Hat Adventure

I went to Luna Park (a very old amusement park for those outside of Melbourne) today, and did the sensible thing on a sunny day and wore a hat. Anyhoo, I had a ride on the scenic railway (an ancient roller coaster) and, of course, off came my Hawks baseball cap. I turned around and there it was sitting on the tracks. The people behind me were most amused.

After the ride, I went back outside the park and I could see my hat sitting there on the track. The scenic railway is an old wooden roller coaster and as such is a bit of a bone shaker. Each time the train came around, my hat edged closer and closer to the side of the track, until it fell off. I am glad to report that owner and hat were successfully re-united.

My watch flung off on the Lethal Weapon ride at Movieworld. It was almost closing time, so they let me scrounge around for it when the ride stopped. No luck finding it.

They sent it back to me about 3 weeks later in pieces!

haha gotta luv the rollercoaster at Luna Park. I remember goin there with the Melbourne boys a year or two ago and a couple of us went on the rollercoaster and well let's just say next time i go on that ride i am going to wear a bra!
