My preference for pick 12!

I am not sure where the thread is which asked our preference for our first draft pick, so I apoligise for starting a new thread on the issue.
My selection in order of my preference are.
(1) Jake Carlisle
(2) Arron Black
(3) Daniel Talia
(4) David Astbury
(5) James Craig

You will see I've gone for tall players with the potential to play at either CHF or CHB. Therefore they may not necessarily be "the best available"
From the video's I really like the look of Jake Carlisle but like all young talls he will take a few years to develop. He looks to have a reasonable size frame so maybe he could start appearing in the team in 2011

I really don't think the recruiters will go tall with pick 12. Someone mentioned it in a thread before that Wayne Hughes and co. are wary of the lack of quality talls within this draft and don't want to take a chance on another Mitch Thorp or Jarrad Grant.

Kane Lucas, Jake Melksham, Brad Sheppard, Callum Bartlett, Jasper McMillan-Pittard, Lewis Jetta - these are the sort of players we will be looking at. Pace and disposal by foot will be a priority for us this year.

If we do go small I hope it's Sheppard, I think we really need someone who can run off half back and hit targets leading up like a Gilbee or a Gram. Russell is developing into that sort of player but IMO doesn't quite have the skill level to be an elite in that position.

I can't believe no-one has posted this elsewhere.......geez......hear we are crapping on about Cloke etc and we could have been discussing who we could pick with pick 12.

Hey, maybe we should get the whole bigfooty community together, and maybe get some posters with (alleged) knowledge to pick one team each and we could do like a phantom draft thingy........

Wow, the ideas are just flowing out of me now.........we should have a seperate board fro trolls.........maybe one for each team too...........wow, great work PeeKay......that one fresh idea has just sporned so many more.

















Actually come to think of it the phantom draft thing probably won't catch on.
