Hey guys
haven't been on here for a while
don't normally come on during the off-season but i'm back for another exciting season
I thought that we lost it today. Port didn't win it. We lost it.
The presence shown by Michael Hurley was superb and so looking forward to this kid playing all 22 games this year (barring injury *touch wood*). Had an outstanding debut.
Might cop some criticism over this but i didn't think Houli was that bad today. He found a lot of the ball did a couple of good things. Yes probably more bad than good but thought he is worthy of another go next week.
I think Atkinson should of played instead of Slattery today, just that extra pace and carry out of defensive 50.
I'm sorry but Ricky Dyson has to go. He is supposed to be quick..Pfft where is it then? Showed none of it today and his disposal was terrible (not the only one but a stand-out)
Don't Lovett made a good start to the year..had a good 3rd quarter but other than that was nothing special. will improve tho..
To wrap up, i think our pressure was very good, but just to point out the obvious, our disposal needs a hell of working on, we are missing simple targets and just gets a bit frustrating.
but ah well, round 1 is over and done with and we move onto the dockers next week. looking forward to it.
my changes for next week:
In: Zaharakis, Bellchambers, Jetta, McVeigh & Myers (if fit of course)
Out: Dyson, Pears (just not ready yet), Monfries, Lucas,
i know im missing one but they are the possible outs
Hopefully we can get a win next Sunday against the Dockers.Go Bombers
