I'm assuming you didn't register for the 12 month warranty? >,>;;;

hmmm........

I think you better call Nintendo customer service and see what your options are...... they'll probably repair it for a fee.....

edit: apparently the Wii has a one year manufacturer's warranty (15 months if registered online) but I'm not too sure about the procedures

What if I don't have proof of purchase?

Most Nintendo products are covered by a twelve month manufacturer's warranty. This warranty is not valid without the purchase receipt as proof of purchase. However, we can still offer to repair your product. You may return your Game Boy product to us as described and we can assess the cost for repairing your product for you. As above, the Appraisal Charge would apply and we would contact you with details for the cost of the repair.

hopefully the Wii is different to the gameboy but that was in the FAQ section of their website.
 
no idea....call the store of purchase then call the nintendo customer service line......

I think the number is either under the console or somewhere on the box.
