2nd half will be a good test of the kids who are composed and able to step up. Brophy, Karps and even Partington to an extent have struggled with the speed of the game.

Thats not a bad sign. You can forgive older players for starting slowly in the preseason, but you want your young guys fighting for a round one spot.

Maybe, but all the senior players are just goin at 25%. It is super hot, so I suspect they are just there for a run and to protect the junior players.

Very poor second quarter. I hope that the coaching staff give them a rocket and they come out and show a bit more. Want to see more of Duggan and Lamb. Bennell and Hutchings and Hotline can hold their heads high. Hotline has clearly got what it takes ... promote the kid.

Not worth watching. We look like whitches hats out there. No inside onballers playing so Crows are just running stoppage drills and their forwards getting it delivered on a platter.


Agree Colledge and Karpany won't be with us at the end of the year.

Big picture, travel and heat would be factors. Keep the senior guys at home and ramp them up over the next few weeks. Not the best developmentally but a lot of lessons will be learnt from this.

2. Sheppherd
3. Jetta
4. Schofield
5. Hill (borderline)
6. Duggan (borderline)

Giles has been ok vs one of the best ruckmen in the AFL. He can play a role.

Absolutely, he is 3rd string ruck at best, if he plays it means there are injuries, but he will hold his own against most other rucks.

Lucas hasnt even done anything except run around spectating. You'd think he'd actually be busting his nut to show he should be playing regular games.

He's got 5 tackles. All you can really do against this.

It's what most of our senior guys went through.

Our preseason started later than most teams, so we have to worry about being ready for round one, not going hard in the first nab game.

Take it easy.

Because these are senior guys who should be pushing hard for selection as most of them are on the fringe, if they arent then it weakens our team depth. You'd think if they were serious about playing in the best 22 (which they should be) then theyd be giving it their all, instead its the kids who are showing them up.
