Because these are senior guys who should be pushing hard for selection as most of them are on the fringe, if they arent then it weakens our team depth. You'd think if they were serious about playing in the best 22 (which they should be) then theyd be giving it their all, instead its the kids who are showing them up.

Lucas, Colledge, Brown, (Fringe players), Yeo, Butler, Schofield, Jetta, Sheppard all been too quiet for my liking..

We're doing the kick it long down the line game plan like it's 2012. Our full squad should put an end to that.

So from those of you capable of watching the game, is there anything worthwhile on display? From reading this thread ive worked out:

1. Kids who cant break into the 22 dont look like they are getting a gig anytime soon

2. Best 22 players are playing at 50% or less (good, IMHO. Dont wanna see someone like Yeo take a speccy and do a hammy in a nothing game)

3. Adelaide chopping us up with a near-full strength squad as expected

That about right?

It's what most of our senior guys went through.

Our preseason started later than most teams, so we have to worry about being ready for round one, not going hard in the first nab game.

Don't have to go hard but with more senior player's around can give advice get the younger player's into the game etc Not sure throwing them all out there to work it out for themselves is the best for future development

Colledge would only be of use on a mud mire ... which don't exist in modern AFL. The guy is just so slow.

Pretty much. Half time, Adelaide said they'll press on with full strength for the rest of the game so things wont change from what you've written. Playing out as expected though.

Yeh pretty much, Adamson has shown enough to get promoted and maybe get a game this year.
